Pastor Chris Davis is the senior pastor of Community Baptist Church located in Greensboro, NC.

    Chris graduated from Pensacola Christian College in 2000 and immediately went back to Greensboro, NC and taught high school students at Vandalia Christian School. Along with teaching at the school, Chris became the youth pastor and associate pastor at Vandalia Baptist Church in 2003.

    During his time in the school, he saw a great need to become a counselor to families. In 2007, he earned his Master’s Degree in Counseling with a concentration on marriage and family. Since that time, he has counseled countless couples and students that were in desperate need of God’s love, forgiveness and mercy.

    In 2011, Chris was called to be the youth pastor and associate pastor at Community Baptist Church in Greensboro, NC. Chris then became co-pastor in 2018 leading the weekly praise and worship services. In August of 2021, Chris was called to be the senior pastor of Community Baptist Church. In 2025, he earned his Doctorate in New Testament Studies.

    Chris has a passion for missions and reaching his community and the world for Christ. He has taken students and adults to 7 countries around the world and believes in people continuing their education. He has a passion for the Spanish speaking community and has made 7 trips to Cuba to help start a Bible college.

    He and his wife Christie have two adult children Autumn and Ty. They live one street away from where Chris grew up as a child. Chris enjoys hunting, fishing and an occasional round of golf.
